Advancing real-world evidence and regulatory science through continued support of FDA’s Sentinel program

Cognizance Technologies, as part of Team VSG, is proud to support the award of the FDA Sentinel 3.0 Studies-as-a-Service Task Order under the Scientific Support Services IDIQ. This award reflects a continued commitment to advancing data-driven approaches that strengthen regulatory decision-making and public health outcomes.

Over the past 18 months, our teams have contributed to more than 70 task orders, building deep domain expertise and a strong understanding of the FDA’s scientific and regulatory mission. This foundation positions us to effectively support the next phase of the Sentinel program and its evolving priorities.

In collaboration with industry partners including Aetion, a Datavant company, and Carelon Research, part of Elevance Health, Cognizance Technologies will help enable the expansion of Sentinel as a critical platform for post-market safety surveillance. Our focus remains on delivering scalable, data-driven solutions that support timely, transparent, and evidence-based regulatory insights.

This milestone represents more than a contract award. It reflects Cognizance Technologies’ ongoing role in advancing real-world evidence, analytics, and AI/ML capabilities across the regulatory science ecosystem, in partnership with government, industry, and academic stakeholders.
